Simon Squibb Commented on my AI Post
Let me show you what drives virality for the top 1% of creators
Help us make better ads
Did you recently see an ad for beehiiv in a newsletter? We’re running a short brand lift survey to understand what’s actually breaking through (and what’s not).
It takes about 20 seconds, the questions are super easy, and your feedback directly helps us improve how we show up in the newsletters you read and love.
If you’ve got a few moments, we’d really appreciate your insight.
Hey!
Happy to share some tricks with you again.
Today I'm diving into something even bigger.
Virality isn't random. It's emotional control.
Most creators try to inform when they should be making people FEEL.
Let me show it to you, plus the exact formula I use to trigger them.
But before we dive in, let’s first look at what happened this week👇
📰 Important News
📚 LinkedIn CEO announces new book exploring AI's impact on job search and professional landscape.
🚨Instagram data breach exposes info from 17.5 million users - now circulating on dark web with passwords, emails, phone numbers.
📌 Pinterest positions itself as alternative to "angst-inducing algorithms" for Gen Z users seeking authentic content.
🍎 Apple launches Creator Studio subscription - bundles all creative and productivity apps with new AI features across macOS and iOS.
🎥 Google launches Veo 3.1 with improved AI video generation tools including vertical video support.
🧠 Anthropic launches Claude Cowork - an AI desktop agent that autonomously manages files and workflows for everyday productivity.
Before I show you how Simon Squibb commented on my Facebook post, here’s what you can do achieve similar results.
Why Your Content Gets Ignored (And How To Fix It)

Here's what nobody wants to admit:
Your content is boring.
Not because you're a bad creator.
Because you're trying to teach when you should be making people feel something.
Think about the last 10 posts you scrolled past today.
You probably don't remember any of them.
But I bet you remember the one that made you angry.
Or surprised you.
Or made you think "wait, WHAT?"
That's the difference.
The 7 Emotions That Actually Work
Every viral post I've ever created hits one of these:
1/ Anger - Makes people want to fight back or defend something

2/ Awe - "I can't believe this is real"

3/ Anxiety - "Am I doing this wrong?"

4/ Fear - "I need to fix this NOW"

5/ Joy - Pure excitement that demands sharing

6/ Surprise - Breaks expectations completely

7/ Sadness - Creates deep connection

Pick one. Master it. Watch what happens.
Here's What I Actually Do
For example, I posted this yesterday and got 1M+ views already.
And it even got the attention of Simon Squibb! Yeah, the “whats’ your dream” guy!

And this triggered several emotions in people:
1/ Anger because some people envy his success
2/ Awe because people can’t believe this is real
3/ Anxiety because people would like to be successful too

The best part about this? I made this post with AI in 10 seconds.
I literally just typed “How Mr Beast became a billionaire” into ViralSky.
It’s not like ChatGPT. This AI tool knows how to write engaging posts and threads.
And you can generate content for any niche like AI, fitness, tech, finance, and more!
The plans start at only $5/M which is 75% less than basic ChatGPT plan.
The Pattern You Need To Steal
Here's the formula I use every single time:
Bold claim that challenges common thinking + Real proof + Question that forces people to choose
That's it.
No complicated strategy.
Just hit an emotion and make people react.
Want Some Examples You Can Use Right Now?
Copy these. Change them to fit your niche. Post them.
For entrepreneurs: "RIP 9-to-5. I quit my job 2 years ago with $500 saved. Now I make more in a month than I did all year. Is job security just a trap?"
For fitness: "Gym memberships are a scam. I got in the best shape of my life without stepping in a gym once. See what I did👇️”
For creators: "Posting every day destroyed my account. I switched to posting 2x per week and tripled my income. Is consistency killing your growth?"
For tech: "RIP expensive AI tools. I replaced my entire $300/month stack with 7 free tools that work better."
See the pattern?
Challenge → Proof → Question.
Every single time.
The Truth About Emotion
Making people uncomfortable (respectfully) gets more engagement than making them happy.
Unless you're already famous, you can't post boring stuff and expect results.
You need to make people stop scrolling.
And information doesn't do that.
Emotion does.
How To Apply This Today
Step 1: Pick your emotion
Which one fits your message? Don't try to trigger all 7 at once.
Step 2: Write a claim that challenges something
What do people in your niche believe that's actually wrong?
Step 3: Add your proof
Real numbers work best. Personal stories work too. Just make it concrete.
Step 4: End with a question
Force people to pick a side. "Is this wrong?" "Should we stop doing X?" "Are we missing something?"
Step 5: Post and watch
The comments will tell you if you hit the emotion hard enough.
One More Thing
Go look at 5 viral posts in your niche right now.
Ask yourself:
What emotion did it trigger?
What belief did it challenge?
What made me want to comment?
Then use that pattern for your next post.
That's how you learn what actually works.
