📊 Claude Levels Up

Anthropic has rolled out a new Claude update that turns plain text into working files (.xlsx, .docx, .pptx, .pdf).
Even better, it can edit uploads, transforming messy spreadsheets, PDFs, or notes into polished dashboards, reports, or presentations.
Key Takeaways:
File Creation & Editing – Claude can make real files (.xlsx, .docx, .pptx, .pdf) and also edit uploads like spreadsheets, PDFs, or notes into clean reports or presentations.
Data Transformation – You can turn raw data into working spreadsheets with formulas and charts, reformat PDFs into slide decks, or organize notes into structured documents.
Secure Workspace – All of this runs in a private computing space where Claude can also run code for complex tasks like calculations, formatting, and design.
Availability – The feature is now in preview for Max, Team, and Enterprise users, with Pro users getting access soon.
Connection to Microsoft Office – Claude doesn’t replace Office or Google Docs, but it speeds up the first draft so you can open and refine files in the tools you already use.
Outlook – This marks a shift toward AI doing the setup work for office tasks, while Microsoft plans to integrate Anthropic’s models into Office 365 soon.
Why It Matters:
Claude isn’t replacing Microsoft Office or Google Docs (yet). Instead, it’s handling the setup work so you can open AI-generated files in the tools you already use.
But with Microsoft set to integrate Anthropic’s models into Office 365 soon, the battle for productivity AI is heating up.

🍎Apple’s iPhone 17 launches without AI Siri

Apple has released the iPhone 17 series, but the advanced Siri powered by AI is still not included. The smarter assistant is now pushed back to 2026.
Details:
The devices still come with built-in AI perks like text suggestions, photo tweaks, instant translation, and Genmoji.
A new Siri that can follow context, recall past requests, and link across apps isn’t ready for launch.
Apple delayed it after trial runs showed performance issues.
Experts say missing the smarter Siri is a drawback, especially as Google races ahead in assistants.
Apple confirmed the upgrade will arrive only once it’s fully refined.
That’s a wrap for today!

All the best,
